Position Overview
Manage the financial health of building projects as a Construction Accountant.
Track project costs, oversee vendor payments, and work with project managers to keep budgets on target.
Key Responsibilities
- Track direct labor and material costs plus indirect overhead for each project.
- Compare actual spending with budgets and warn teams about cost overruns early.
- Process subcontractor invoices and client progress billings.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Forecast cash needs for current and upcoming jobs.
- Ensure projects follow local tax laws, GST/VAT rules, and contract terms.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in the construction industry.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and construction software such as QuickBooks or Sage 300 Construction.
- Understanding of work-in-progress accounting, retainage, and change orders.
Compensation
- Pay is ₹25,000–₹30,000 per month.

- The work location is in person.
