What You Will Be Responsible For

• Reviewing requests for clearance to amend existing matters, open supplementary matters and liaise with partners and other fee earners to determine the appropriate ways to do this.
• Performing initial review of submissions from matter teams and evaluating accuracy and appropriateness of requests.
• Analysing information contained in the Firm's conflict management systems.
• Performing research on various databases to understand the relationship with client and counterparties involved in the new proposal and identify any potential conflicts of interest that may arise.
• Performing research on external databases like Orbis and Merger market to find information about various entities involved in an engagement.
• Assisting and analysing for existing mandates whether the updated scope of work is in line with original scope of work cleared on the matter.
• Monitoring mailboxes and responding to the requests of Global and local teams of the firm.
