- Ensure continuity in the delivery of curriculum content
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and exploration
- Participate in parent teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE or equivalent specialism in Computer Science
- IB / AP experience in Computer Science is preferred
- Proven experience teaching High School Computer Science, preferably within an American/IB curriculum school
- Strong knowledge of inquiry based learning and hands on Computer Science education
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues
- A strong desire to continually improve their practice and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences for their students
