As the Compute Engineering Lead at BAM, you will
Be the hands-on manager and leader of compute infrastructure.
Scale and harden our compute infrastructure to provide a robust and resilient environment for researchers and investment professionals.
Leverage both open and closed source software solutions.
Partner with application developers across the firm and enable their success.
Participate in on-call rotation and maintenance.
Core Tech Stack
Kubernetes on bare metal Linux.
RPM-based Linux distro.

To be considered a good technical fit, you must have
- 10+ years, hands-on experience with large-scale compute environments.
- Experience with software low latency environments.
- 5+ years people management experience.
- Expert knowledge of Kubernetes from the infrastructure and application points of view.
- Experience managing bare metal compute at scale.
- IP network performance tuning and routing experience.
