The Computational Fluid Dynamics Engineer position will support Starfire Energy?s development of ammonia production and cracking technologies.
Primary responsibilities include heat transfer modeling and contributing to the design of heat transfer apparatus within the ammonia synthesis reactor and the ammonia cracking reactor.
Additional responsibilities include fluidized bead bed flow analysis, heat transfer modeling, pressure deferential prediction, and bead bed design for ammonia production adsorption and desorption apparatus.
Modeling subjects will include fluid flow distribution and thermal analysis, heat transfer, and possibly surface chemical reactions.
Other duties requiring CFD modeling and/or finite element analysis (FEA) not listed above may be required from time to time.
The position will make technology improvement recommendations based on model results.
The candidate will work in a team environment to support conceptual design through product implementation.
