Responsibilities
- Prepare, construct, and maintain composite molds used in production of aerospace and other advanced components
- Read and interpret technical drawings, prepare plug surfaces, apply release agents, lay up materials, and build molds using various composite processes
- Trim, finish, and repair molds, ensuring dimensional accuracy and surface quality
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize mold performance
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements
- Proficiency in composite mold fabrication including plug preparation, lay up, vacuum bagging, and curing of materials such as fiberglass, carbon fiber, and epoxy or polyester resins
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, CAD models, templates, and work instructions
- Skilled in hand and power tool use for trimming, sanding, drilling, and finishing molds
- Knowledge of mold maintenance and repair techniques
- Understanding of manufacturing safety standards and handling of chemicals and composite materials
- Relevant technical diploma, vocational training, or equivalent hands on experience in composites, mold making, or related manufacturing trades

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Composite Technician Mold Maker role based in UAE.
- Prepare, construct, and maintain composite molds used in production of aerospace and other advanced components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, prepare plug surfaces, apply release agents, lay up materials, and build molds using various composite processes.
- Trim, finish, and repair molds, ensuring dimensional accuracy and surface quality.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize mold performance.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
