About the Role
Venture Search seeks an experienced Compliance Officer & Money Laundering Reporting Officer for a leading international banking group in DIFC, Dubai. The role involves leading compliance and AML/CFT frameworks, regulatory engagement, and providing advice on corporate banking activities.

Responsibilities
- Hold responsibility for Compliance Officer and MLRO functions, subject to regulatory approval
- Act as primary compliance contact with regulator, managing regulatory engagement and inspections
- Own and enhance firm's compliance framework including policies, procedures, and monitoring programme
- Lead AML/CFT framework including CDD, EDD, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring and SARs
- Provide practical compliance advice to front office teams on corporate banking activities
- Oversee client onboarding and periodic reviews across client segments
- Deliver compliance and AML training and promote compliance culture
- Prepare compliance reporting for senior management and governance committees
- Support regulatory projects including business growth initiatives and licence enhancement
Requirements
- Previous experience as a DFSA Authorised Individual (Compliance Officer and/or MLRO) or strong DIFC regulatory track record
- Minimum 7 years compliance experience within DIFC or comparable regulated financial services environment
- Strong knowledge of DFSA Rulebook, UAE AML/CFT requirements and financial crime regulations
- Banking experience with exposure to corporate banking, trade finance, lending, syndicated facilities or financial institutions preferred
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining compliance frameworks within regulated firms
- Strong understanding of KYC, sanctions, transaction monitoring and regulatory reporting
- Professional qualifications such as ICA, ACAMS or equivalent advantageous
- Fluency in English required; Arabic advantageous

Role Overview
