Role Description
- The Compliance Officer role is a part time, hybrid position based in Dubai, with flexibility for some work from home.
- The Compliance Officer will oversee compliance frameworks, monitor adherence to regulatory requirements, and help maintain policies and procedures aligned with relevant laws and standards.
- Daily responsibilities include reviewing documentation, assessing compliance risks, preparing reports, and supporting internal audits and reviews.
- The role also involves collaborating with finance and operations stakeholders, providing clear guidance on regulatory obligations, and contributing to the continuous improvement of compliance practices.
- The Compliance Officer will be expected to stay current on applicable regulations and share practical recommendations with the broader team.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant policies, laws, and standards.
- Robust Analytical Skills to assess risk, evaluate processes, and develop practical compliance solutions.
- Effective Communication skills, including the ability to convey complex regulatory issues clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Foundational understanding of Finance to align compliance activities with financial controls and reporting requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, law, business, or a related field; professional certifications in compliance or risk management are an advantage.
- Experience in a compliance, risk, or control focused role within consulting, financial services, or corporate environments is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid setup, demonstrate sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities in a part time schedule.
