Role Description
- This part time Compliance Manager role at Tania Ochoa Fotografía is a hybrid position based in Dubai, with a combination of on site work and work from home flexibility.
- The Compliance Manager will oversee the studio’s adherence to relevant laws and regulations, including contracts, client agreements, data protection, and intellectual property matters.
- Day to day responsibilities include reviewing and drafting internal policies, preparing and updating legal documentation, and monitoring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- The role involves advising the business on legal and compliance risks, coordinating with external legal advisors when needed, and maintaining accurate records of compliance activities.
- The Compliance Manager will also support training and awareness initiatives for team members to ensure consistent, compliant practices in all operations.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Law and Legal Affairs, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant regulations to a small business and creative studio environment.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts, agreements, and internal policies.
- Experience in Legal Consulting and Legal Compliance, providing clear guidance on regulatory requirements and risk mitigation.
- Ability to design, implement, and maintain compliance frameworks, including monitoring procedures and documentation standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field; professional certifications in compliance or regulatory affairs are an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks part time.
- Comfort working in a hybrid setup in Dubai, collaborating both on site and remotely with a small, creative team.
- Prior experience in compliance within the UAE or similar jurisdictions, and familiarity with data privacy and contract law, is highly beneficial.
