Role Overview

The role is for a Company Site Representative (DSV) supporting Qatar offshore operations.

The representative will provide leadership oversight to ensure safe and quality-compliant execution of contractor subsea construction activities aboard a Diving Support Vessel.

Contract and Schedule

  • Contract duration is 36 months.
  • The work pattern is 70% offshore and 30% onshore.
  • Working hours are 12 hours per day, 7 days per week, and 28 days per month.
  • Leave rotation is 28 days on and 28 days off.

Qualifications and Experience

  • High School Certificate is required.
  • Offshore training certifications from recognized industry-accredited bodies are required.
  • OPITO H2S and T-BOSIET certifications are required.
  • At least 20 years of offshore installation experience on Diving Support Vessels is required.
  • At least 5 years as an Offshore Construction Manager, Company Site Representative, or DSV Superintendent is required.
  • At least 5 years as a diver or dive supervisor in air or saturation diving is required.

Technical Knowledge

  • Knowledge of offshore facility installation and subsea structure execution methods using an installation vessel is required.
  • Extensive DSV leadership experience is required.
  • Basic training or knowledge in lifting, rigging, and safety standards is required.
  • Previous QELNG experience and knowledge of QELNG PTW systems are desirable but not mandatory.

Site Representation

  • Act as the Senior Company Site Representative onboard Diving Support Vessels during execution.
  • Provide leadership oversight of contractor subsea construction activities.
  • Coordinate with the Company Vessel Management Team and report activity status and progress to the onshore PMT.
  • Interface daily with the EPC contractor’s Offshore Construction Manager and craft labour.

Compliance and Risk

  • Monitor compliance with company specifications, procedures, risk assessments, and plans.
  • Ensure events from FRA, risk screening, HAZID, HIRA, and safety meetings are closed before critical work begins.
  • Coordinate SIMOPS and PTW activities within 500 metres of company assets.

Marine and Stakeholder Coordination

  • Oversee contractor marine activities with the company Marine Lead.
  • Verify and validate vessel compliance with company requirements.
  • Interface with project teams and departments to resolve issues and promote collaboration.
