Role Description
- As a Community Specialist at Project Naveli, you will support community building efforts and engagement activities around the organization’s gender equality initiatives.
- This part time, hybrid role is based in Dubai, with a combination of on site work and some work from home.
- On a day to day basis, you will interact with community members, respond to inquiries, and provide support across digital and in person touchpoints.
- You will help organize events, discussion circles, and outreach campaigns, while maintaining active communication across social platforms and local networks.
- The Community Specialist will also gather feedback from participants, assist in documenting impact stories, and collaborate with internal teams to strengthen community participation and advocacy.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Community Engagement experience to build trust and foster inclusive participation.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication abilities to facilitate dialogue, share resources clearly, and represent the initiative professionally.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and Community Management skills to handle inquiries, moderate discussions, and maintain a positive community environment.
- Awareness of gender equality and social justice issues, particularly in the Indian context, and a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Experience working with NGOs, social impact projects, or community based organizations is beneficial.
- Comfort with digital tools and social media platforms for community outreach and engagement.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks in a part time capacity, and collaborate effectively in a hybrid work setting.
