- Take full ownership of scaling a high quality ecosystem by engaging top tier freelancers through events, content, portfolio management and 1:1 interactions
- Design and execute a 'must attend' event roadmap and high value content strategy tailored to the UAE
- Act as the vital bridge between global programs and local Sales goals, ensuring community initiatives align with business objectives
- Forge strategic alliances with local actors (Chambers of Commerce, freelance permit providers) and monitor community metrics
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications
- 3+ years of experience in Sales, Project Manager or similar
- 5 years of experience in the Middle East (ideally UAE)
- Professional fluency in English
- Proven track record in community building or similar

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic community building: Take full ownership of scaling a high quality ecosystem by engaging top tier freelancers ; you will attract and nurture these key profiles through events, content, portfolio management and 1:1 interactions from calls to business lunches to transform them into a powerful
- Local Expert Engagement & Content: Design and execute a 'must attend' event roadmap and high value content strategy (newsletters, articles) tailored to the UAE; your mission is to activate the community and ensure Malt is the heartbeat of the local freelance scene.
- Business Alignment & Cross Functional Synergy: Act as the vital bridge between global programs and local Sales goals; you will collaborate cross functionally to ensure every community initiative is perfectly synchronized with our business objectives and fuels local revenue.
- Ecosystem Partnerships & Performance: Scale Malt’s visibility by forging strategic alliances with local actors (Chambers of Commerce, freelance permit providers) while rigorously monitoring and reporting on community metrics to drive continuous, data backed improvement
About You
- Background & Expertise: Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications with 3+ years of experience in Sales, Project manager or similar.
- Regional Expertise: You have a proven track record with 5 years of experience in the Middle East (ideally in the UAE), with a deep understanding of the local market dynamics and cultural nuances.
- Business Driven: You act with a growth mindset, ensuring all community initiatives align with business objectives and deliver measurable ROI.
- Project Management Mastery: You possess high level expertise in end to end project management, from conceptualizing large scale events to executing complex communication plans.
- Ownership & Proactivity: You are a highly organized self starter who works in total autonomy, taking full responsibility for your perimeter while acting as a force of proposition to innovate and suggest strategic improvements.
- Freelancer Relations: You have a deep sense of service and a natural talent for building strong, professional relationships with freelancers, acting as their dedicated partner.
- Communication Skills: You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting compelling narratives across various channels.
- Languages: Professional fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in French and/or Arabic is a significant advantage.
