Job Summary
Assist the Head Chef in back-of-house, kitchen, and food preparation activities.
Support daily shift activities and customer satisfaction through consistent food quality.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Demi Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie in supporting the culinary operations of an assigned section.
- Produce food items as instructed by senior staff and maintain clear internal communication.
- Follow food hygiene, licensing, safety, and culinary standards.
- Use standard recipes and plate presentation methods to maintain production and presentation quality.
- Use kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean, safe workstation.
- Date and store food correctly, sanitize equipment, and protect food integrity and quality.
- Control breakage, spoilage, and cost items.
- Assist other sections or perform other duties during staff shortages or emergencies.
