Job Description
Roasters is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Commis Pastry Chef to join its culinary team.
The role assists with pastry, dessert and baked goods preparation in a professional kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing pastries, cakes, desserts and baked items.
- Follow recipes and presentation standards set by senior chefs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pastry section.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Support daily kitchen operations and production.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.
Requirements
- Two years of UAE experience in a similar role is required.
- Experience in a hotel, café or restaurant is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of baking and pastry techniques is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required.
- Strong attention to detail, consistency, teamwork and communication are required.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays is required.
