Responsibilities and Activities
- Monitor kitchen equipment and report issues to supervisors.
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, seasonings, and elements of high-quality dishes.
- Wash, chop, and cut fruit, meat, and vegetables.
- Assess inventory and request resupply when needed.
- Plate meals under chef de partie supervision.
- Dispose of spoiled items and follow sanitation policies.
- Assist other chefs and follow company policies and manager instructions.
Experience and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role is required.
- Higher certification in culinary arts is preferred.
- An associate degree, diploma, or culinary arts certification is advantageous.
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent hygiene standards.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
Compensation
- Pay is listed as SAR 3,000 to SAR 3,500 per hour.
Workplace
- Work is performed in person.
