Job Description
The role supports kitchen operations and delivers consistent food quality and guest service at Al Maha Arjaan by Rotana Abu Dhabi.
The Commis III is responsible for daily mise en place and assigned kitchen duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I in daily kitchen operations.
- Follow instructions from superiors when completing kitchen duties.
- Maintain the work area in hygienic condition according to hotel rules.
- Control food stock and food costs within the assigned section.
- Prepare daily mise en place and food production in main kitchen and satellite sections.
- Ensure high standards and consistent quality in daily preparation.
- Coordinate with and participate in other sections' requirements, cleanliness, wastage, and cost control.
Education, Qualifications and Experience
- Complete a professional chef training course.
- Have previous experience in a quality establishment with good culinary skills.
- Communicate in English.
- Have knowledge of food preparation and preservation.
