Job Description
The role is for a Commis III supporting kitchen operations at Al Maha Arjaan by Rotana Abu Dhabi.
The position supports food preparation and service standards for hotel guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I in daily kitchen operations.
- Follow instructions from superiors and complete assigned daily tasks.
- Maintain the work area in hygienic conditions according to hotel standards.
- Control food stock and food cost in the assigned section.
- Prepare daily mise en place and food production in different sections of the main kitchen or satellite kitchens.
- Maintain the highest standards and consistent quality in daily preparation.
- Coordinate with other sections on requirements, cleanliness, wastage, and cost control.
Education and Experience
- Have completed a professional chef training course.
- Have previous experience in a quality establishment.
- Have good culinary skills.
- Be able to communicate in English.
- Have knowledge of food preparation and preservation.
