Position Summary

Prepare pastry and other baked foods according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists.

Support safe, sanitary, and consistent kitchen operations while monitoring food quality and portions.

Pastry and Kitchen Operations

  • Prepare, portion, chop, and store ingredients before use.
  • Use baking and measuring tools, equipment, and appliances safely to prepare baked foods.
  • Check kitchen appliance and food temperatures and report issues to management.
  • Monitor food quality and portions throughout the shift.

Sanitation and Compliance

  • Follow food safety handling and personal hygiene policies and procedures.
  • Wash and disinfect the kitchen, set up and break down the workstation, and follow cleaning procedures.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions and comply with company safety and security policies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • Less than 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
  • No supervisory experience or license or certification is specified.

Schedule and Work Conditions

  • The position is full time and located in the kitchen operation in Doha, Qatar.
  • The work requires extended standing, sitting, or walking and repetitive bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • The role requires moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
