About The Role
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated **Commis Chef** specializing in **Emirati and Arabic Cuisine** to join our culinary team in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain high kitchen standards, and support the culinary team in delivering authentic and high-quality dishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of Emirati and Arabic dishes.
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, and mise en place as instructed by senior chefs.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
- Follow food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Support the kitchen team during service periods.
- Properly store and handle food products to minimize waste.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or kitchen assistant.
- Knowledge of Emirati and Arabic cuisine is essential.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Culinary qualification is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
