Key Responsibilities

• Deliver the Hyatt brand promise and provide exceptional guest service to both external and internal customers at all times.
• Prepare, cook, and present food items according to Hyatt standards, established recipes, and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Support daily kitchen operations by preparing and ensuring efficient workflow within the assigned section.
• Accommodate special guest requests whenever possible while maintaining quality and operational standards.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, portioning, and presentation.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards in all food handling and preparation activities.
• Minimize food waste and contribute to achieving departmental food cost objectives.
• Stay informed about seasonal ingredients and new products available in the market.
• Maintain assigned workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas in a clean, organized, and sanitary condition.
• Handle equipment and supplies with care to minimize damage and wastage.
• Ensure all Hyatt brand standards, operational procedures, Touches of Hyatt, and Food & Beverage initiatives are implemented consistently.
