Key Responsibilities Include
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of dishes across all sections of the kitchen.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and smooth operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Take initiative to develop culinary skills and grow within a professional kitchen environment.
- Support less experienced team members when required.
Shift Details (subject to change)
Breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts
Split shifts may be required on some days
Up to 30 hours per week (during busy season)
Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation)
Monday - Friday: $36.81 per hour
Saturday: $44.18 per hour
Sunday: $51.54 per hour
To be successful in this role you will have
Relevant Certificate III in Cookery and previous experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of Modern Australian Cuisine.
Understanding of HACCP and Workplace Health and Safety (OH&S) requirements.
Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic team environment.
Flexibility to work across a range of shifts, including weekends.
Ability to coach and motivate less experienced kitchen team members.
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
