Job Summary
- The Commis – Bakery is responsible for assisting in the preparation, production, and presentation of bakery items in accordance with company recipes, quality standards, and food safety requirements.
- The Commis – Hot Kitchen is responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of hot food items while maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, hygiene, and kitchen safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and production of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other bakery products.
- Follow standardized recipes and production schedules.
- Prepare ingredients and baking materials as instructed by supervisors.
- Ensure all products meet quality and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery work area.
- Properly store ingredients and finished products following FIFO principles.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Assist with receiving and storing bakery supplies.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
- Operate bakery equipment safely and responsibly.
- Support the team during peak production periods.
Requirements
