Position overview
Commis 2 role assigned to the main kitchen in the Food and Beverage & Culinary department.
The position is full time, non-management, and not remote.
The role is located on Sheikh Zayed Road in Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Food preparation and cooking
- Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, storing, washing, and peeling food.
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and preparation checklists.
- Prepare cold foods and operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
- Test food for doneness and monitor food quality during preparation.
Kitchen operations
- Set up and break down the workstation.
- Serve food in proper portions and onto appropriate receptacles.
- Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
- Check and maintain correct appliance and food temperatures.
