- Assist in the preparation and production of a wide variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and confectionery items under the supervision of senior pastry chefs
- Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pastry kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients
- Assist in inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering supplies as needed
- Work closely with other kitchen departments to ensure smooth operation
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and company policies
- Continuously learn and improve pastry techniques and knowledge
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Commis 1 Pastry or similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment
- Basic knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, and dessert presentation
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Must be currently in UAE
