Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and food items according to recipes and company standards
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
- Assist in daily prep and mise en place before service
- Support chefs during busy service periods
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic workstation at all times
- Follow all food safety, HACCP, and Dubai Municipality regulations
- Ensure all food items are correctly labelled, dated, and stored
- Minimise food waste and use ingredients efficiently
- Monitor stock levels within assigned sections and inform supervisor when low
- Assist with receiving deliveries, checking quality, and storing products correctly
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or similar kitchen role preferred
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
- Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

About the Role
- We are looking for a dedicated and organised Commis 1 to support the kitchen team in delivering high quality food while maintaining excellent hygiene, food safety, and operational standards.
