About the Opportunity
Experienced Commercial Manager sought for a leading engineering and construction organization delivering major projects across the Middle East.
The role owns contractual and commercial aspects of a significant project while supporting delivery, protecting commercial interests, and maximizing project value.
Location and Employment
- Location: Abu Dhabi.
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Industry: Oil and gas and energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial and contractual activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage valuations, invoicing, payment applications, and commercial reporting.
- Oversee cost control, forecasting, and project financial performance.
- Manage and mentor Quantity Surveyors and commercial professionals.
- Administer contracts and advise project teams on commercial and contractual matters.
- Lead subcontract evaluation, administration, and commercial reviews.
- Manage claims and variations, preserve entitlement, and support dispute avoidance.
- Review and draft contractual terms and conditions.
- Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
