About The Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Insurance Account Executive to join our team.

This role is central to delivering exceptional client service, managing client relationships, and supporting our consultants in driving business growth and retention.

You will act as the key liaison between insurers and clients, ensuring seamless handling of policies, renewals, and endorsements while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage new business requests from clients and consultants by analysing requirements, advising on coverage, and obtaining competitive quotations
  • Prepare client proposals, negotiate terms with insurers, and ensure timely binding of coverage
  • Oversee the full quote-to-issuance process, ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs and maintaining tracking for any delays
  • Handle policy endorsements end-to-end with accuracy and efficiency
  • Manage renewals end-to-end, ensuring timely engagement and retention of clients
  • Collaborate with the Head of General Insurance and consultants on key accounts, strategic matters, and potential challenges
  • Maintain regular client engagement to review coverage, identify risks, and explore account development opportunities
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and case management in line with internal processes
  • Prepare and maintain reports on quotations, issued policies, lost business, and overall productivity
  • Ensure full compliance with underwriting guidelines, regulatory requirements, and company SOPs

Requirements

  • Minimum **5 years of experience** in UAE commercial insurance, including underwriting, coverage structuring, and rate analysis
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and the ability to clearly explain coverage to clients and insurers
  • Excellent communication skills in English; **Arabic is an advantage**
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently
  • Proven negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Professional insurance qualifications such as **CII / FIII** preferred
  • Proficiency in **Microsoft Office**
