Overview
The Business Development Manager (BDM) primarily supports consultants on their leads by assisting in client engagement, solution structuring, and deal closure.
The role involves conducting client needs analysis, presenting and promoting suitable health insurance solutions, negotiating terms and pricing with insurers, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
The BDM also supports clients throughout the onboarding and placement process to ensure a smooth transition from proposal to policy issuance./p>
Key Responsibilities
- Support consultants on active leads to drive successful conversion and placement.
- Conduct detailed client needs analysis to recommend appropriate health insurance plans.
- Present and promote health insurance products to prospective clients in a professional and consultative manner.
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with insurers to secure competitive and effective solutions.
- Present alternative options and discuss specific client requirements to tailor coverage accordingly.
- Provide clients with procedural guidance and onboarding requirements.
- Obtain client confirmation and coordinate with the KA/SME team for policy placement and implementation.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
