Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long range planning processes across multiple markets and business units
- Build detailed financial models to assess growth opportunities, investment decisions and commercial initiatives
- Deliver insightful analysis on business performance, identifying risks and opportunities to drive profitability
- Support strategic planning through scenario modelling, business case development and investment appraisal
- Partner with commercial teams to evaluate customer, channel and market performance
- Provide financial support for new business opportunities, expansion projects and growth initiatives
- Develop and enhance reporting processes, dashboards and performance metrics
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to influence decision making through data driven insights
- Support the delivery of annual plans, quarterly forecasts and long term growth strategies
- Drive continuous improvement across financial processes, reporting and analytical capabilities
Requirements
- Experience within Commercial Finance, FP&A, Financial Planning, Business Partnering or Strategic Finance roles
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and long range planning processes
- Proven ability to translate complex financial data into actionable commercial insights
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience partnering non finance teams
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial reporting tools
- A proactive, curious and solutions oriented mindset
- Professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred

Role Overview
- The Advocate Group has partnered with a leading international consumer goods business to appoint a Commercial Finance Manager within its high performing commercial finance team.
- This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who enjoys operating at the intersection of finance, strategy and commercial decision making.
- Supporting a rapidly evolving international business, you'll play a critical role in driving growth through financial planning, business partnering and strategic analysis, helping shape investment decisions and long term commercial plans across multiple markets.
The Role
- As Commercial Finance Manager, you will be responsible for delivering robust financial planning and analysis, developing commercial insights and partnering with senior stakeholders to support business growth.
- Working cross functionally with Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations teams, you'll provide the financial rigour required to evaluate opportunities, optimise performance and support strategic decision making.
