Overview
Lead and oversee commercial management of AtkinsRéalis' Saudi Arabian project portfolio.
Ensure projects meet contractual obligations, financial targets, and internal governance standards.

Commercial Responsibilities
- Interpret contractual rights and responsibilities across the KSA project portfolio.
- Support Project Directors in delivering projects to contractual arrangements and commercial objectives.
- Coordinate commercial appointments for business sectors and sub-consultants.
- Manage commercial administration, monitoring, change control, risk registers, and variation registers.
- Develop commercial competence among project management and design delivery staff.
- Support commercial staff on live projects and conduct project commercial reviews and audits.
Financial and Risk Management
- Review monthly financial reports, project risk registers, and contingency actions.
- Improve risk management with the aim of converting appropriate contingency into margin.
- Work with finance and project teams on debt management to improve profit outcomes.
- Guide project teams on contract-compliant billing to maximise positive cash flow.
- Provide early warnings of risks to project financial health.
Technical Knowledge and Experience
- Hold a BEng or BSc in an appropriate engineering discipline, Quantity Surveying qualification, or equivalent from a recognised western university.
- Hold professional membership such as MRICS, MCIOB, MCIPS, or MCIArb.
- Bring at least 15 years of relevant experience with a global engineering or cost consulting firm.
- Have experience with contracts, subcontracts, design and site operations, financial models, pricing, project planning, delay claims, variations, and claims.
- Have senior commercial experience on at least one major design and construct project.
Additional Requirements
- Have Middle East experience.
- Communicate excellently in written and spoken English.
- Be commercially astute, client-focused, relationship-oriented, and able to lead teams.
- Be willing to travel regularly within the region.
- Demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills.
