Position Overview

  • The Commercial Director is responsible for leading the commercial strategy of a luxury resort in Abu Dhabi, driving revenue growth across all business units including rooms, F&B, spa, events, and leisure experiences.
  • This role requires a strong commercial leader with deep luxury‑hospitality expertise, excellent UAE market knowledge, and proven success in sales, marketing, revenue management, and business development.
  • The Commercial Director ensures the resort’s commercial performance aligns with brand standards, market positioning, and financial targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a comprehensive commercial plan covering sales, marketing, revenue, and distribution.
  • Lead the sales team to achieve targets across corporate, leisure, MICE, and travel trade segments.
  • Oversee marketing campaigns, digital presence, partnerships, and brand visibility in the UAE and international markets.
  • Optimize pricing, forecasting, inventory, and channel mix to maximize profitability.
  • Identify new commercial opportunities, partnerships, and market segments to drive growth.
  • Monitor UAE and GCC market trends, competitor performance, and demand patterns to inform strategy.
  • Work closely with operations, finance, F&B, and guest experience teams to align commercial initiatives.
  • Manage commercial budgets, financial planning, and performance reporting.
  • Build strong relationships with owners, partners, travel agencies, corporate clients, and government entities.
  • Mentor and develop high‑performing sales, marketing, and revenue teams.
  • Ensure commercial initiatives support the resort’s luxury positioning and guest satisfaction goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years in luxury hospitality.
  • Strong UAE market knowledge.
  • Proven leadership in sales, marketing, revenue, and business development.
  • Strategic planning and commercial acumen.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Expertise in digital marketing and distribution channels.
  • Advanced analytical and forecasting skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • High level of professionalism and executive presence.
  • Results‑driven mindset with innovative thinking.
  • Fluency in English required; Arabic is an advantage.

Pay

  • AED 35,000 AED 40,000 per month

Working Conditions

  • Based at a luxury resort in Abu Dhabi with daily on‑site leadership presence.
  • Full‑time role with flexibility for extended hours, weekends, and business travel.
