As part of their continued growth strategy, they are seeking an experienced Commercial Director to lead the overall commercial agenda, drive sustainable revenue growth, and strengthen market leadership

The Commercial Director will be responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy across sales, key accounts, distributors, and strategic customer relationships.

This is a pivotal role requiring a blend of strategic vision, commercial acumen, and operational excellence.

• Develop and execute the company's commercial strategy in line with overall business objectives.
• Drive sustainable growth in revenue, market share, and profitability.
• Lead and develop high-performing sales and commercial teams.
• Build and strengthen relationships with key customers, distributors, retailers, and strategic partners.
• Negotiate major commercial agreements and long-term customer partnerships.
• Identify new business opportunities, routes to market, and growth channels.
• Ensure effective pricing, trade investment, promotional planning, and margin management.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to deliver business objectives.
• Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to inform commercial decisions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and annual business planning processes.
• Establish clear performance metrics and drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Represent the business externally with customers, industry bodies, and key stakeholders.

• Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role such as Commercial Director, Sales Director, Business Director, or General Manager within FMCG, consumer goods, manufacturing, food & beverage, building materials, or a related sector.
