Role Description

  • Collaborate with the Head of Commercial to provide insightful analysis and recommendations supporting business objectives.
  • Conduct in depth market and financial analyses to enable efficient decision making and identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare structured reports that summarize findings, trends, and actionable insights for stakeholders.

Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Conduct robust market analysis and forecasting trends to support commercial decision making.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Analyze competitor pricing, product positioning, and commercial strategies.
  • Provide insights that support business development and strategic planning.

Pricing & Profitability Management

  • Prepare and utilize comprehensive financial models that align with organizational goals.
  • Evaluate pricing structures and discount strategies and perform margin analysis to improve profitability.
  • Support pricing optimization initiatives.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Use visualization tools to present complex data comprehensibly.
  • Build dashboards and reports to track commercial metrics.
  • Translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations.
  • Present findings to senior management.

Commercial Performance Analysis

  • Analyze sales performance, revenue trends, and profitability across products, customers, and regions.
  • Develop financial models to assess commercial initiatives and pricing strategies.
  • Monitor KPIs related to sales growth, margins, and customer acquisition.

Strategic Planning

  • Assist in annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
  • Identify operational improvements and revenue optimization opportunities.
  • Support cross functional projects that drive commercial growth.

New Service Innovations

  • Feed potential new service innovation requests or ideas into the business.
  • Work with clients to develop partnership based solutions and services.
  • Develop internal Business Cases to support new innovation ideas.

Qualifications And Relevant Roles/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in data analysis and reporting within commercial or contract management environments.
  • Strong proficiency in analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • 2–5+ years of experience in business analysis, commercial analytics, or financial analysis.

Job Specific Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong, professional communication skills, able to liaise with senior client management.
  • Good cross functional knowledge of S+ services.
  • Experience of shared services an advantage.
  • Account management experience preferable.
  • Strong planning and organizing, ability to see the big picture.
  • Proactive with can do attitude.
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
