- Conduct in depth market and financial analyses to enable efficient decision making and identify growth opportunities
- Prepare structured reports summarizing findings, trends, and actionable insights for stakeholders
- Monitor and forecast financial metrics related to contracts, budgets, and business performance
- Assess impact of commercial strategies and propose modifications to enhance business outcomes
- Develop and manage tools and models for effective data tracking and performance monitoring
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations within the commercial domain
- Conduct stakeholder engagement to collect, validate, and present data relevant to project management and business operations
- Analyze competitor pricing, product positioning, and commercial strategies
- Evaluate pricing structures and discount strategies and perform margin analysis
- Build dashboards and reports to track commercial metrics
- Assist in annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning
- Develop internal business cases for new service innovations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–5+ years of experience in business analysis, commercial analytics, or financial analysis
- Proven experience in data analysis and reporting within commercial or contract management environments
- Strong proficiency in analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

Role Description
- Collaborate with the Head of Commercial to provide insightful analysis and recommendations supporting business objectives.
- Conduct in depth market and financial analyses to enable efficient decision making and identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare structured reports that summarize findings, trends, and actionable insights for stakeholders.
Market & Competitor Analysis
- Conduct robust market analysis and forecasting trends to support commercial decision making.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and emerging trends.
- Analyze competitor pricing, product positioning, and commercial strategies.
- Provide insights that support business development and strategic planning.
Pricing & Profitability Management
- Prepare and utilize comprehensive financial models that align with organizational goals.
- Evaluate pricing structures and discount strategies and perform margin analysis to improve profitability.
- Support pricing optimization initiatives.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Use visualization tools to present complex data comprehensibly.
- Build dashboards and reports to track commercial metrics.
- Translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations.
- Present findings to senior management.
Commercial Performance Analysis
- Analyze sales performance, revenue trends, and profitability across products, customers, and regions.
- Develop financial models to assess commercial initiatives and pricing strategies.
- Monitor KPIs related to sales growth, margins, and customer acquisition.
Strategic Planning
- Assist in annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
- Identify operational improvements and revenue optimization opportunities.
- Support cross functional projects that drive commercial growth.
New Service Innovations
- Feed potential new service innovation requests or ideas into the business.
- Work with clients to develop partnership based solutions and services.
- Develop internal Business Cases to support new innovation ideas.
Qualifications And Relevant Roles/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis and reporting within commercial or contract management environments.
- Strong proficiency in analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
- 2–5+ years of experience in business analysis, commercial analytics, or financial analysis.
Job Specific Knowledge & Skills
- Strong, professional communication skills, able to liaise with senior client management.
- Good cross functional knowledge of S+ services.
- Experience of shared services an advantage.
- Account management experience preferable.
- Strong planning and organizing, ability to see the big picture.
- Proactive with can do attitude.
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
