Role Summary
The Associate Manager – Commercial supports sourcing, merchandising, and sales development across assigned fruits and vegetables categories and stores.
The role focuses on demand forecasting, supplier management, visual merchandising, inventory optimization, and commercial performance while maintaining product availability and brand presentation.
Commercial and Category Activities
- Support category sales, margin growth, product availability, and commercial performance.
- Manage local and imported fruits and vegetables sourcing channels and supplier networks.
- Conduct assortment planning, range reviews, promotional planning, and pricing activities.
- Execute merchandising standards, planograms, and category presentation requirements.
- Forecast demand and optimize inventory across assigned categories and stores.
- Monitor inventory, shrink, sales, stock, and profitability performance.
- Identify market trends, customer preferences, and commercial opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Operations, Replenishment, Logistics, Marketing, Supply Chain, and supplier partners.
- Use Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or other reporting and analytics tools to interpret performance information.
