Role Overview
Oversee accounts receivable and collections activities to improve cash flow and efficiently manage outstanding balances.
Develop collection strategies, monitor receivables, resolve payment issues, and maintain strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage collection activities, review overdue accounts, set collection priorities, and monitor aging reports.
- Coordinate payment follow-ups, negotiate payment arrangements, and resolve disputes and billing issues.
- Work with finance, sales, customer service, legal, and other teams to improve collection performance.
- Monitor collection KPIs and prepare management reports, forecasts, dashboards, and updates.
- Identify credit and payment risks, improve collection procedures, and maintain documentation and controls.
- Supervise, coach, and motivate collections and accounts receivable teams.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable, collections, credit management, cash flow, and financial controls.
- Knowledge of aging analysis, payment follow-ups, credit terms, account reconciliation, and dispute resolution.
- Familiarity with ERP, accounts receivable, collections, CRM, and financial reporting systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, aging analysis, and reporting.
