Requirements
- Strong proficiency in coding concepts and at least one kid friendly programming language or platform (e.g., Scratch, Blockly, Python basics)
- Skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and adapting teaching materials to different age groups and learning styles
- Classroom management and facilitation skills
- Clear, patient communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts simply
- Experience teaching or mentoring children in STEM or digital skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Comfort working in a multicultural environment
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and commitment to learner safety and inclusivity
- Familiarity with online learning tools and educational software is an advantage
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus

Role Description
- The Coding for Kids Trainer role is a part time, on site position based in Doha, Qatar.
- The trainer will design and deliver engaging coding lessons for children, using age appropriate tools, languages, and projects to build foundational programming skills.
- Day to day tasks include preparing lesson plans, developing learning materials, guiding students through hands on activities, and assessing their progress.
- The role involves managing classroom dynamics, providing individualized support, and communicating regularly with parents or guardians about learner performance.
- The trainer will also collaborate with Edoxi’s academic team to refine curricula, integrate new technologies, and ensure safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environments.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in coding concepts and at least one kid friendly programming language or platform (e.g., Scratch, Blockly, Python basics).
- Skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and adapting teaching materials to different age groups and learning styles.
- Classroom management and facilitation skills, with the ability to keep children engaged through interactive and project based learning.
- Clear, patient communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in simple, accessible terms to young learners.
- Experience teaching or mentoring children in STEM or digital skills, preferably in a training center, school, or similar setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Comfort working in a multicultural environment and collaborating with colleagues across different campuses.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a commitment to learner safety, inclusivity, and professional ethics.
- Familiarity with online learning tools and educational software is an advantage.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to the region are a plus.
