Responsibilities

Supervise project milestones and coordinate with team leads to ensure achievement.
Coordinate interdisciplinary coastal engineering design functions and modelling.
Manage the design and evaluation of tender proposals and project designs.
Review consultant resource and cost utilization and drive optimization.
Oversee research and development activities related to coastal engineering.
Supervise coastal engineering design deliverables within deadlines and available budgets.
Implement advanced tools, technologies, and techniques and develop team capabilities through training.
Ensure deliverables meet quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Monitor project deliverables, plans, schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.
Supervise and support emergency activities in coastal regions.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Manage conflicts, solve problems, and mediate between stakeholder interests.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
An advanced degree in Coastal or Marine Engineering and Sciences is preferred.
15–20 years of experience in coastal engineering modelling and design in related industries is required.
Proven leadership in technical teams and complex projects is required.
