CNC Setter/ Operator

We are looking for a skilled CNC Setter Operator to join our production team.

This individual will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machinery, ensuring that all products meet company specifications and comply with established safety standards.

• Set up CNC machines to produce components, including loading tooling, fixtures, and raw materials.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings, CAD files, and job specifications to determine machine settings and production requirements.
• Programme CNC machines as required, adjusting to optimise efficiency and maintain product quality.
• Monitor machine operation, inspecting finished items to ensure they meet required tolerances and quality standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment, reporting faults or breakdowns promptly to the maintenance team.
• Work collaboratively with other production staff to minimise downtime and maximise output.
• Complete production records, including job sheets, inspection reports, and maintenance logs.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
