CMMS Associate Engineer

You will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and continuously improving maintenance master data within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The role supports maintenance, operations, engineering, and project teams by ensuring data quality, compliance with maintenance processes, and effective system utilization. You will also contribute to data improvement initiatives and supports the delivery of maintenance excellence across the facility.

Our Operations team delivers a wide range of services, including maintenance, turnaround (TAR) execution, and asset support across both onshore and offshore environments. This area of the business offers diverse opportunities to develop your skills while working across a varied portfolio of energy assets.

Our current portfolio supports multiple operators across the North Sea, covering everything from day-to-day maintenance activities and shutdown delivery through to late-life asset support and decommissioning. This breadth of work provides valuable exposure to different phases of the asset lifecycle, allowing you to build well-rounded experience in a dynamic and safety-critical industry.

Process and implement master data change requests in accordance with site requirements, data standards, governance processes, and approved procedures.

Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of maintenance master data to support effective maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution.

Perform data quality checks, audits, and validation activities to ensure compliance with maintenance data standards and processes.

Ensure integrity assurance data structures align with local standards, enabling effective results recording, analysis, and gap identification.

Support brownfield projects by providing maintenance master data quality assurance and integrity support.

Identify and implement opportunities to improve data management practices, standardization, and process efficiency.

Provide first-line support to site maintenance teams for CMMS and maintenance system-related issues.

Deliver user guidance, training, and support on maintenance systems, CMMS functionality, and best practices.

Support system upgrades, enhancements, testing, validation, and implementation activities.

Act as a subject matter resource for maintenance processes and CMMS configuration, supporting maintenance, operations, engineering, and project teams.

Analyse maintenance, engineering, operations, and project data to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

Contribute to the maintenance community's objectives by supporting initiatives that enhance reliability, efficiency, and overall maintenance performance.

Significant experience within a maintenance function in the Oil & Gas industry.

Proven experience managing SAP PM master data, including: Asset registers Maintenance plans Task lists Bills of Materials (BOMs)

Asset registers Maintenance plans Task lists Bills of Materials (BOMs)

Strong understanding of maintenance management principles and processes, including planning, scheduling, and maintenance performance measurement.

Demonstrated experience working with maintenance KPIs and supporting performance improvement initiatives.

Proven data management and analytical skills, including advanced use of Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across multiple disciplines.
