Role Overview
The Cluster Security Supervisor protects and safeguards hotel guests, employees, belongings, and hotel assets under the guidance of the Security Manager.
The role assists with hotel security operations and promotes efficient service, guest satisfaction, and the desired work culture.
Responsibilities
- Understand hotel services and products and make recommendations to guests and employees.
- Follow hotel standards, rules, procedures, and UAE legal requirements.
- Manage the department when the Security Manager is absent.
- Perform at least one patrol of all property areas during each shift and report irregularities.
- Conduct emergency drills, safety inspections, investigations, interviews, security grooming, and key control.
- Maintain accurate security logs, incident reports, key-control records, lost-and-found records, quarantine lists, visitor passes, and gate passes.
- Investigate and report claims involving theft, accidents, injuries, property damage, vandalism, and trespassing.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience in the security field.
- Valid SIRA Security Supervisor license.
- Extensive knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
- Excellent management, supervisory, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to train others on security policies and procedures.
- Ability to handle confidential and classified information.
- Additional security-related training or certifications are advantageous.
