Job Description
- We are currently seeking for dynamic, self motivated Finance professionals who can assist us to provide financial support, advice and expertise to the General Manager and the entire team, with the aim of maximizing value and to develop the quality of the accounting and financial requirements within the Hotels.
- As an Cluster Director of Finance you are responsible to perform additional responsibilities on behalf of the cluster relating to the maintenance of adequate financial records and systems, safeguarding of company assets, compliance with fiscal and legal legislation, compliance with company policies, the analysis, interpretation and communication of financial data on which to make sound commercial decisions and maximize on profit potential for the hotels and company, whereby key responsibilities include-
- Carry out variance analysis on financial reports form the properties and to prepare appropriate commentary for the respective Financial Controllers on actual property performance compared to plan and/or forecast, requesting remedial action where necessary, ensuring copies of report are forwarded to the relevant General Manager / the Area Vice President and Corporate Office
- Carry out field visits to all properties within the group , one of which will be with the Corporate Vice President Finance
- Review insurance coverage for all properties on an annual basis and make recommendations to the Corporate Vice President - Finance on changes.
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should be a college / university degree graduate with a minimum of two years experiences in a similar role with preferable previous experiences in the Middle East.
You must be a computer literate with effective communication skills and an excellent command of written and spoken English.
Knowledge & Competencies
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional with a solid finance background and the passion for quality & excellence.
