Role overview

Lead public relations and communications for Rosewood AMAALA and Rosewood Red Sea, two luxury destinations in Saudi Arabia.

The role focuses on brand reputation, media relationships, brand integrity, and visibility across Saudi Arabia, the GCC, and international markets.

Based in Riyadh with regular travel to both destinations, reporting to the Cluster Director of Communications.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated public relations and communications strategies for both destinations.
  • Build relationships with media, influencers, government communication offices, cultural institutions, and industry stakeholders.
  • Create and distribute press releases, media kits, executive messaging, speeches, statements, Q&As, fact sheets, and thought leadership content.
  • Manage media visits, influencer stays, broadcast productions, executive interviews, and destination storytelling opportunities.
  • Prepare executive briefings, talking points, media training materials, and strategic messaging frameworks.
  • Manage public relations agencies and external partners, including objectives, outcomes, brand alignment, and return on investment.
  • Support crisis communications and reputation management through media monitoring, risk identification, and response planning.
  • Work with internal departments and destination stakeholders to develop stories and maintain consistent communications.

Candidate profile

  • Experience in luxury hospitality, tourism, lifestyle, destination marketing, or a related premium industry.
  • An established media network across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
  • Confidence engaging with journalists, editors, broadcasters, influencers, and industry leaders.
  • Strong storytelling, writing, and communication abilities.
  • Understanding of how public relations and strategic communications influence brand perception and reputation.

Work arrangement

  • The role is based in Riyadh and includes regular travel to Rosewood AMAALA and Rosewood Red Sea.
