Role Overview

Seeking an experienced, strategic, and technically strong Cloud Solution Architect.

The role designs secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions supporting digital transformation and long-term technology objectives.

The architect works with business stakeholders, software engineers, infrastructure, security, DevOps, and technology leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end cloud architectures aligned with business requirements, technical standards, and enterprise architecture principles.
  • Develop highly available, secure, resilient solutions across application, infrastructure, data, and integration layers.
  • Lead cloud migration, modernization, transformation, and optimization initiatives.
  • Develop architecture diagrams, technical designs, solution blueprints, standards, and documentation.
  • Design cloud-native applications using microservices, containers, serverless technologies, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
  • Define integration strategies for applications, databases, APIs, third-party platforms, and enterprise systems.
  • Ensure security, compliance, governance, availability, performance, and disaster-recovery requirements are met.
  • Support Infrastructure as Code and automated deployment practices using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Present solution proposals and architecture decisions to senior management, technical leaders, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in cloud architecture, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, cloud engineering, or a related technical role.
  • Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise cloud solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud platform, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Understanding of multi-cloud, hybrid-cloud, and cloud migration architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, compute, storage, databases, identity management, security, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, serverless computing, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with cloud cost management and FinOps principles is preferred.
  • A relevant bachelor's degree is preferred, and relevant cloud or architecture certifications are advantageous.
