Responsibilities
- Assess on-premises infrastructure and applications to develop comprehensive cloud migration strategies and roadmaps
- Design migration architectures using rehost, replatform, refactor, and hybrid approaches based on workload requirements
- Lead end-to-end cloud migration execution including database migrations, application modernization, and cutover planning
- Implement migration tooling including AWS Migration Hub, Azure Migrate, or GCP Migrate for large-scale migrations
- Establish cloud governance frameworks, landing zones, and operational runbooks for newly migrated environments
- Manage stakeholder communication and risk mitigation throughout multi-phase migration programs
Requirements
- 6-9 years of cloud engineering experience with proven track record of leading enterprise migration programs
- Deep expertise in cloud migration methodologies (6Rs) and assessment frameworks
- Strong knowledge of database migration techniques including CDC replication, schema conversion, and data validation
- Experience with migration tools (AWS DMS, CloudEndure, Azure Site Recovery, Google Transfer Service)
- Understanding of networking requirements for hybrid cloud including VPN, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, and DNS migration
- Excellent project management and communication skills for stakeholder engagement and risk management

- Experience with Saudi Arabia Vision 2030 digital transformation initiatives
- AWS Migration Specialty or Azure Migration certification
- Familiarity with mainframe or legacy system modernization
