Responsibilities
- Advise on container re platform and refactor modernization architectures
- Technical definition in containerization of applications leveraging OpenShift and Kubernetes
- Architect, Design and implement enterprise PaaS solutions based on RedHat OpenShift
- Design and deploy High available, and split cluster based OpenShift environment
- Create modern application platform automation solutions based around containers and container orchestration
- Ensure the Cloud Platform & Services are designed and implemented to support infrastructure initiatives
- Assist in projects implementation
- Technical governance of the vendor solutions
- Delivery risk management
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering
- 11 years of experience in IT or Technology fields
- Minimum 5 years in the Telecom industry
- 5 years of experience in technical and program management capacity
- Strong experience in OCP (OpenShift), Redhat, Virtualization, VMware
- Excellent hands on experience on Docker
- Hands on experience on OpenShift or Kubernetes set up installation & administration
- Good exposure to DevSecOps principles, CI/CD, Continuous Deployment Pipelines using Jenkins
- Excellent knowledge in Linux OS (RHEL, Ubuntu, core OS, Suse, etc.)

Key Accountabilities
- Advise on container re platform and refactor modernization architectures
- Technical definition in containerization of applications leveraging OpenShift and Kubernetes
- Architect, Design and implement enterprise PaaS solutions based on RedHat OpenShift
- Ability to design and deploy High available, and split cluster based OpenShift environment
- Strong experience in OCP (OpenShift), Redhat, Virtualization, VMware etc.
- Excellent hands on experience on Docker in setting up and managing private Docker Trusted Registry (DTR) and of developing as well as maintaining Docker images / containers for different technology stacks
- Create modern application platform automation solutions based around containers and container orchestration, using technologies like Red Hat Enterprise Linux Atomic Host, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Knowledge/experience in Containers (Docker, Swarm, Kubernetes)
- Hands on experience on OpenShift or Kubernetes set up installation & administration
- Good exposure to DevSecOps principles, CI/CD, Continuous Deployment Pipelines using Jenkins.
- Excellent knowledge in Linux OS (RHEL, Ubuntu, core OS, Suse, etc.)
- Ensure the Cloud Platform & Services are designed and implemented to support infrastructure initiatives and are aligned with the overall business strategies and priorities.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering
Experience
- 11 years of experience in IT, or Technology fields and minimum 5 years in the Telecom industry
- 5 years of experience within a technical and program management capacity that has cultivated a strong professional and interpersonal leader with sound Payment and Enterprise domain product knowledge
Skills
- Run project review boards for management reporting: reviewed and reported progress against plans, budget and requirements.
- Successfully managed to define project scope, minimise scope creep and controlled the project budget and the full detail behind actual costs spent, costs to complete and any deviation from agreed scope.
- Experience of working within a managed services, outsourcing or off shoring model.
- Construct and presented business cases and value propositions for strategic projects
- Experience in complex and heterogeneous Information Systems (IS) / Technology Infrastructure (TI) landscapes, which support critical business processes
- Experience in large Payment and Enterprise systems domain projects as a delivery, or as architecture team leader
- Deep knowledge of Telco processes coupled with in depth knowledge of Payment and enterprise domain functions
- Deep knowledge of applications & platforms used in telco industry coupled with in depth knowledge of Payment and enterprise domain systems
- High familiarity levels with TMF standards (eTOM, TAM, SID)
- Experience in Project Management tools
- Ability to offer consultancy of services for internal customers
- Knowledge in methodology and project management skills
