Role Overview
SOOR is seeking a Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer to manage, support, monitor, and secure enterprise application hosting environments.
The role is responsible for high availability, performance, and security across hosted applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and troubleshoot IIS and SQL Server environments.
- Support web applications and production environments.
- Troubleshoot issues across network, security, application, and database layers.
- Manage SSL certificates, IIS security, authentication, and access controls.
- Work with Apache, Tomcat, Java-based applications, APIs, load balancing, and WAF technologies.
- Apply change management, incident management, and root cause analysis practices.
- Manage backup, disaster recovery, and recovery testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to solve problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Proven experience in similar projects.
- Strong experience with IIS, Windows Server, SQL Server, and application hosting.
- Knowledge of networking, web hosting, and cybersecurity controls.
