About the Role
DeepSource Technologies is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Automation Engineer to design, deploy, and manage VMware environments, build automation pipelines with Terraform and Ansible, and optimize Kubernetes clusters.

Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage VMware environments including vSphere, NSX T, vSAN, and ESXi for enterprise clients
- Build and maintain infrastructure automation pipelines using Terraform and Ansible across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments
- Deploy and optimize Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads, supporting CI/CD integration and day to day operations
- Architect and implement Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions, including compute, networking, storage, and identity management
- Develop and maintain IaC templates for consistent, repeatable deployments across staging and production environments
- Integrate VMware infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines to streamline DevOps workflows and reduce manual operations
- Provide L2/L3 support for complex issues across virtualization, networking, and hybrid cloud environments
- Lead incident resolution, root cause analysis, and problem management for critical infrastructure issues
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including DevOps, security, and project management to ensure delivery excellence
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks
- Support data center migration and infrastructure resiliency planning initiatives
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands on experience in cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and enterprise IT environments
- Strong proficiency in VMware stack: vSphere, NSX T, vSAN, and ESXi administration and troubleshooting
- Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code and Ansible for configuration management
- Hands on experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads
- Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or equivalent public cloud environment (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and integration with infrastructure workflows
- Strong incident management skills with experience in L2/L3 support and shift leadership
- Excellent communication skills; able to collaborate with both technical teams and client stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
