Job Purpose

Architecture and Platform Leadership

• Lead enterprise cloud and AI architectures, standards, and target-state roadmaps.
• Align architecture with business strategy, regulatory constraints, enterprise architecture, and multi-country hosting.
• Define patterns for core systems, digital channels, integrations, analytics, and AI-enabled use cases.
• Design AI-ready cloud foundations across data, integration, security, and automation layers.
• Evaluate cloud services, AI platforms, technology partners, and emerging technologies.

Delivery and Governance

• Design cloud architectures for applications, data platforms, and AI-enabled services.
• Lead pilots, proofs of concept, and controlled trials for cloud, automation, and AI technologies.
• Guide teams on cloud-native design, automation, deployment, production readiness, and operational support.
• Define controls for data access, privacy, residency, security, compliance, FinOps, and responsible AI use.
• Support incident, problem, and root-cause analysis and track technical issues through resolution.

Communication and People Leadership

• Prepare architecture proposals, options, and decision papers.
• Communicate architectural choices and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Promote collaboration, reuse, shared ownership, and disciplined architecture practices.
• Support onboarding, coaching, design reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing where applicable.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in enterprise technology or architecture roles.
• At least 4–6 years of hands-on cloud architecture experience across AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience designing and governing production cloud systems.
• Cloud or architecture certifications are preferred but not mandatory when practical experience is demonstrated.
• Experience in regulated environments such as insurance, financial services, or healthcare is preferred.

Core Skills

• Cloud architecture across AWS and/or Azure, cloud-native patterns, automation, solution architecture, secure design, identity and access management, data protection, and compliance.
• Structured proofs of concept, technology evaluation, stakeholder management, architectural communication, prioritization, and independent work across multiple projects.
• AI and generative AI architecture experience, including LLM solutions, RAG, vector retrieval, and enterprise data integration, is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required.
