Clinical Specialist – CPAP / Sleep Apnea Specialist
Company: Corner Home Medical Location: Apple Valley, MN Job Type: Full‑Time, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Corner Home Medical is seeking an experienced, patient‑focused Clinical Specialist to support patients with home respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and other durable medical equipment (DME). This role combines customer service , patient education , and respiratory equipment setup , making it ideal for candidates with strong communication skills and experience in the healthcare or home medical equipment industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, referral partners, and caregivers.
- Support general customer service functions as needed within the branch.
- Instruct customers on CPAP/BiPAP setups , downloads, mask fittings, and troubleshooting.
- Assess patient needs and ensure proper equipment placement based on medical requirements.
- Discuss Medicare and insurance coverage requirements with patients, families, and physicians.
- Obtain verbal orders from physicians and verify insurance coverage and prior authorizations.
- Enter patient demographics, medical information, insurance details, and charges into computer systems (Brightree experience a plus).
