Dispatch

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of dispatch experience preferred (logistics, transportation, service dispatch, or delivery operations).
• Knowledge of routing and GPS tracking software (e.g., route optimization, real‑time tracking).
• Valid driver’s license; must maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Strong judgment and decision‑making skills with ability to weigh costs/benefits.
• Excellent customer service skills; experience assessing needs and meeting service standards.
• Strong time management —ability to manage own time and coordinate others.
• Understanding of transportation principles for moving products/services efficiently.
• Foundational knowledge of administration & management (planning, resource allocation, coordination).
• Effective troubleshooting and operations analysis skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office ; able to learn and implement new software tools.
• Experience motivating and coordinating teams ( management of personnel resources ).
• Excellent written and verbal communication and professional phone etiquette.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced setting.
• Positive problem‑solver; team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Willingness to complete vendor/company DME training and in‑services.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged sitting and/or standing (up to 8+ hours/day).
• Frequent keyboarding and phone use (fine motor dexterity).
• Clear verbal communication; ability to understand spoken communication.
• Occasional lifting up to 15 lbs (supplies/files).
• Close and color vision required.
• Professional appearance required.
• Steel‑toed shoes required (warehouse environment).
